Yurts (circular domed tents with plywood floors) are available from rent $27 per night at eight coastal parks. Yurts are furnished with a space heater, lights and beds, and are reservable up to one year in advance.

Fort Stevens State Park   Off U.S. 101, west of Astoria on the north Oregon coast near the mouth of the Columbia River. Campsites: 213 full hookup, 130 electric, 261 tent (max. RV length 50'), 2 yurts. Group tent, hiker/biker camps. Trailer dump station. Showers. Bike/hike trails.   Accessible campsites (2F, 2E, 2T), restrooms, shower, and (in day use area) wildlife viewing bunker for people with disabilities. Reservations accepted.

Saddle Mountain State Park  Off U.S. 26, 8 miles northeast of Necanicum Junction and 17 miles east of U.S. 101 on the north Oregon coast.  Campsites: 10 Primitive.

Cape Lookout State Park  Off U.S. 101, 12 miles SW of Tillamook on the north Oregon coast. Includes beachside facilities and scenic trail to tip of headland. campground near the beach open year-round.  Campsites: 54 full hookup, 1 electric, 195 tent (max. RV length 62'), 2 yurts. Group tent, hiker/biker camps. Trailer dump station. Showers. Nature study trail. Stabilized sand dunes. Meeting hall. Accessible campsite (1E), restrooms for people with disabilities.

Oswald West State Park  On U.S. 101, 10 miles south of Cannon Beach, on the north Oregon coast.  Has walk-in primitive campground; wheelbarrows for equipment provided.  Campsites: 36 primitive.

Sandbeach USFS campground  In Pacific City, take Three Capes Scenic Route west for 0.2 miles to stop sign (Cape Kiwanda Rd.). Turn right at stop sign onto Cape Kiwanda Rd. and go 7.9 miles to Sand Lake Recreation Area sign (Galloway Rd.). Turn left onto Galloway Rd. and go 2.4 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground.  Open mid-March through October; $12 per day; 10 day maximum There are also two parking lot-styled campgrounds - East Sand Dunes and West Sand Dunes Camp Areas. They are used for overflow and large RVs; the fee is $5 per day.  There are ATV loading ramps in both of these areas.  Waste Station; Gray water disposal;  Public Phone; Playground

Hebo Lake USFS campground From Beaver, Oregon, take 101 south 4.4 miles to State Rt. 22 (in Hebo, OR). Turn left onto Rt. 22 and go to Hebo Lake sign (Forest Rt. 14). Turn left at sign onto Rt. 14 and go 4.7 miles to campground.   campground is situated in a grove of large trees around Hebo Lake.   There are platforms around the lake for fishing. Open All year, no garbage disposal Nov - Mar; Apr 15 - Oct15  $6 per day  Oct 15 - Apr 15 $3 per day; 10 day maximum; No RV hookups; Swimming, hiking, electric motor boats, fishing for trout

Spruce Run County Park - For camping the way it used to be. Located on the bank of the Nehalem River, campers are dwarfed by large conifers. 60 campsites, no hook-ups. water nearby and restrooms.

Nehalem Bay State Park  Off U.S. 101, 3 miles south of Manzanita Junction, on the north Oregon coast. Sand-dune sheltered campground is open year-round; includes popular horse camp.  Campsites: 291 electric (max. RV length 60'), 17 primitive in-horse camp, 6 primitive for fly-in campers using adjacent air strip, 9 yurts. Trailer dump station. Showers. Boat ramp. Bike trail. Meeting hall. Accessible campsites (3E), restrooms, picnic area, boat dock for people with disabilities. 

Barview Jetty County Park, 2 miles north of Garibaldi at Tillamook Bay.  The park is 160 acres, near the beach, with trails and a marina nearby. Campsites: 249 spaces, 60 with full hookups, 13 pull throughs, restrooms, showers, dumpstation, public phone, handicap accessible, open year round.


Cannon Beach/Ecola State Park A highlight of the Oregon Coast, Haystack Rock rises up from the beach at Ecola State Park, making it the largest monolith on the Oregon Coast. Just north of the town of Cannon Beach.

Manhattan Beach Surrounded by shore pines, this cozy little beach is an out-of-the-way spot down a short path from the parking area.  Site includes picnic tables that are protected from the wind, making this a favorite beach just north of Tillamook.

Rockaway Beach Seven miles of open beach, uncluttered by crowds and litter. It's a wonderful place if you simply want to do nothing but enjoy some peace and quiet on one of the best beaches of the Oregon Coast.

Short Sand Beach at Oswald West State Park south of Cannon Beach.  Beach is in a secluded cover, about a 15 minute walk through the woods. Popular surfing spot.

Oceanside Beach is a popular day use park and a great place to beachcomb and explore tide pools.  West of Tillamook, access is free.

Neskowin Beach Tucked away in the town of Neskowin, one of the most romantic beaches along the Oregon Coast.
